The exhibit was shown in the event venue at Serendipity Salon and Gallery in both the large art gallery and the small art gallery.
The exhibit featured drawings, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, sculptures, and photographs from professionals, amateurs, youth and children.
All pieces have been donated by the artists for the benefit of the people of Ukraine.
Proceeds will go to the Ukraine and impacted countries fund of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
The submission period for artwork has closed.

For me, for now, my weapons of war are my art, my community and my community’s art.
I choose to fight against the unjust and horrific actions that are being perpetrated upon the country and people of Ukraine by gathering as many artists as I can into one exhibit, and selling the pieces for Ukrainian relief and aid.
I have chosen The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as the organization which will receive our donation. Study them here: https://www.ifrc.org/about-ifrc
About the show:
Who: Anyone who wanted to create and donate art to help others who so desperately need it. Professional and amateur artists of any age were welcome.
Buyers! We cannot send money if we don’t sell the pieces, so patrons are equally as important as artists. Share the news of this show widely, please.
What: Art pieces follow the theme of “blue and yellow and/or sunflowers”.
Any medium, any size (that fits indoors), any style suitable for all audiences, any price…
When: The deadline for physical submissions has passed.
The show will open on Friday, June 3rd, 6:00-9:00, and remain up through July 31.
Where: The main exhibit will be in the large gallery at Serendipity Salon and Gallery and event space in Columbia, MO. See the map for Serendipity with this link : Serendipity Salon and Gallery, 1020 E. Walnut, Ste. 100, Columbia, MO 65201. The Artworks Studios Gallery (adjacent to Serendipity,) and DogMaster Distillery, 210 St. James St. will also serve as exhibition space.
Why: Art has power.
It is my hope not only that the money raised will be a significant donation to IFRC, but also that we who create the show and who experience the combined efforts of our vast art community will be moved and inspired by the experience.
Art can heal.
May our efforts become a balm to ourselves and to others who are hurting in our world.
Peace,
Elizabeth
